Leaving Instagram

as i enter my SIXTH year of pet care, i will be leaving instagram.

this does not mean i am changing my business, in fact, my 2026 calendar is filling up fast!

i am so grateful to have clients who are booking weeks and months in advance so i can then plan my breaks. one thing i love about being my own boss is that i can block off one weekend a month so i have guaranteed time to spend with family and recharge!

if business is booming, why leave IG?

honestly, i don't get traffic on that platform, and leaving my business profile lets me put my time and focus elsewhere, like on the pets!

*traffic to my website comes from facebook and word of mouth

while i will continue to post on my business Facebook page occasionally, i can give more details in this longer format. previous blogs cover tracking tools, ways to exercise your dog before entertaining guests, and why all pet parents (no matter their schedule) should have a pet care professional in their life!

while many blogs will cater to dog parents, some will be for the general animal lover, like my upcoming blog about the Animal Lovers Book Club, DelCo!!
